I am the Liberal Democrat Council candidate for the Rutherglen South Ward of South Lanarkshire Council.

Call for action on Rutherglen train overcrowding

A call for action on train overcrowding in rush hour trains at Rutherglen station has come from local Liberal Democrats. The call follows a new report from Transport Scotland, the Scottish Government agency, that overcrowding on the Scotrail network had quadrupled over the past 5 years
Local Liberal Democrats in plea to retain Rutherglen seat

The ancient communities of Cambuslang and Rutherglen should be retained intact in the same Parliamentary seat. This is the strong plea made by Rutherglen Constituency Liberal Democrats in written representations to the Boundary Commission for Scotland.
